Under 7 Blue Season Review - by Monique McKenzie, U7 Blue coach

What a great season the Under 7 Blue team have had this year. It was my first year of being a coach and I have loved every bit of it getting to know the kids individually and seeing their skills improve every week. Our games have been exciting with all the players getting involved and having fun. From the very first game of the season our players have shown how eager they are to put into practice the skills they have been shown at training, such as passing, defending and finding those gaps in attack. For some of the Blue team it was their first time playing Rugby, so well done. I would like to thank Kevin for taking the lead at training for us this year and giving me the opportunity to coach the Blue team.  I would also like to thank the parents for being great sports and cheering us on at all the games this season - it really lifts the players' confidence.

Good luck next year to my Blues that will be making the step up to U/9's - I am sure you will do well.

Hope to see you all in October for the 7's comp.
